You may or may not already know that March is Brain Tumour Awareness month. Well, here at Pistachio, it’s a cause that’s very close to our hearts and therefore one we always try to shout about.

In 2019, after a 9-year battle, Pistachio Director Marie sadly lost her beloved husband Dave to a terminal brain tumour. The life and soul of any party, and a consummate joker until the end, Dave lives on in every happy memory he left behind with a never-ending community of family, friends, and colleagues.

And that’s why, for team Pistachio, it’s especially important that we make March a month to remember by helping to raise awareness for Brain Tumour research, helping the cause to get ever close to finding a cure for this devastating disease.

On March 25th we’ll be taking part in Wear a Hat Day. Acting as the culmination of Brain Tumour Awareness Month, this fundraising milestone is a fun way to bring people together and raise vital funds for like-saving research.

How does it work? Well, we’ll be making our very own hats from scratch and no doubt modelling them as we see fit all over town, we just need you to support us in doing it. If you’d like to donate, and thus make all of our creative efforts worthwhile, you can find our fundraising page here.

And why not get involved too? All you have to do is fashion something to wear on that important little head of yours (we won’t judge) take a pic and tag us on social using the #WearAHatDay hashtag – your support really would mean so much.
